Yesterday morning we made it out of “the Yaak” in northwest Montana, but not before catching some great stories along the way. We made it into Idaho and happened to stop at a stoplight right next to the owner of Cabinet Mountain Brewing Co. in Libby, MT. She had given us some suggestions on getting to the Yaak the day before and let us use their internet. We couldn’t believe we were so far down the way and we crossed paths once again!

Idaho was a short trip. If you’ve looked at a map recently, we cut across the northern point of the state and made our way into eastern Washington. Some of the most incredible views of the trip so far were descending into the Columbia River Gorge. At a rest stop somewhere in Washington we met two young folks selling baked goods to raise money for a mission trip to Yakima, WA, this summer. High schoolers work with kids while they work toward personal and spiritual growth. They shared their story. We shared your support.

To Mike and Angela… Your family is to be admired for its deep bond and love. Your work with young people has helped so many experience what they may not have otherwise. To Carla and Layton… You supported one more mission trip. You’ve conducted them, funded them, packed for them, and now contributed to even more kids making future memories. Hawley is so lucky to have the both of you. To Arlys… Your generous hand reached from Ulen, MN, to a group of young people in Washington. Because of your big heart, these kids are one step closer to Yakima.

Sharing stories is the key to truly connecting with others. Listen well to be heard. ‪#‎ProjectWildness‬
